This Privacy Policy ("Notice") applies to FORAN (PRIVATE) LIMITED ("FORAN", "we", "our", or "the Company"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2017, having its registered office at Bahria Town, Karachi.
This Notice outlines how FORAN collects, uses, processes, stores, transfers, and discloses personal and sensitive data from users through its websites, mobile applications, and other digital platforms (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you ("User", "You", "Your") consent to the data practices outlined herein and agree to the terms in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA) and any future data protection regulations enacted in Pakistan.
FORAN may collect the following categories of information:
a) Personal Information — including but not limited to: full name, contact number, email address, residential address, CNIC or passport number, date of birth, gender, and IP address / device information.
b) Sensitive Personal Information — may include: financial details (bank accounts, card information), biometric data (if applicable), health records (if applicable), and passwords and security credentials.
c) Transactional and Behavioural Data — transaction history, browsing activity, service usage patterns, location data (if permitted), and communication records.
d) Device and Usage Information — automatically collected data including device model, operating system, browser type, IP address, and usage statistics and location.
Your data is used for purposes such as: account creation and verification; delivering services and managing orders; improving user experience and performing analytics; marketing and promotional communications (opt-out available); legal compliance and regulatory reporting; fraud detection and cybersecurity; and dispute resolution and enforcement of legal rights.
We may share your data with: Service Providers & Partners (including delivery agents, payment gateways, customer support, and marketing services); Regulatory Authorities (upon lawful requests or legal obligations under PECA and other applicable laws); Business Transfers (during mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring); and Group Companies (with equivalent privacy protections in place).
All data sharing is done under legal contracts and with confidentiality safeguards.
Where necessary, data may be transferred outside Pakistan. We ensure such transfers comply with Pakistani law and that recipient countries or entities provide adequate data protection. Consent is obtained as needed, and contractual protections are enforced.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to: fulfil the purpose of collection; comply with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., tax, audit, cybersecurity); and protect against disputes or misuse.
We implement industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative safeguards, including Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, access controls, and encrypted databases and secure servers.
However, no system is completely immune to threats. Users must also take precautions to protect their login credentials.
Our Platform may use cookies, web beacons, and similar tools for site functionality, user personalisation, and analytics and advertising. You may control cookie settings via your browser. Refer to our Cookie Policy for detailed information.
You have the right to: access and correct your personal data; withdraw consent (which may affect service usage); request deletion or restriction of your data; request data portability (where feasible); and file a complaint with future designated authorities.
FORAN does not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. Parental or legal guardian consent is required for any data collected from minors. If such data is identified, it will be deleted immediately.
Our Platform may contain links to external websites and services. FORAN is not responsible for their privacy practices. Users are encouraged to review third-party policies before engaging with such platforms.
The following terms govern the handling of orders placed through the Platform:
a) Product Availability. Where a product included in a confirmed or ongoing order becomes unavailable from the relevant vendor, FORAN reserves the right to remove that item from the order. The User will be notified of any such removal and, where applicable, will be charged only for the items actually fulfilled.
b) Price Changes. Product prices are set by vendors and may change without prior notice. Where a vendor revises the price of a product, FORAN reserves the right to update the price displayed on the Platform and applied to any pending or ongoing order accordingly. Material price changes affecting an active order will be communicated to the User where reasonably practicable.
By placing an order through the Platform, the User agrees to pay the full amount due for that order through the selected payment method.
Where payment for an order made through an online or deferred payment method remains outstanding for more than seven (7) days from the date it falls due, FORAN reserves the right to pursue recovery of the amount through all lawful means available under the laws of Pakistan, including the initiation of legal proceedings.
In such cases, and subject to applicable law and the discretion of the relevant court or forum, the User may be held liable for the outstanding amount, the reasonable legal and recovery costs incurred by FORAN, and an additional charge of up to fifty percent (50%) of the total order value.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Major changes will be communicated via email, in-app messages, and Platform announcements. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of any updated terms.
The Foran Delivery / Foran Delivery Partner app requests both background and foreground location permissions from users. These permissions are essential for the smooth operation of all features and services offered by the application.
If users do not allow location access, some features of the app may not function correctly. It is therefore important to grant these permissions for full functionality.
Foran Delivery / Foran Delivery Partner only uses your location data to support app features — such as assigning the nearest delivery partner based on your current location. We do not use your location for any purpose beyond the app's functionality, and we do not share your personal data or location with anyone outside the scope described in this Notice.
Your data and personal content are kept secure. No additional permissions are required beyond the location access needed to deliver essential services.
